I noted that there were no comments, from which I inferred that most people who saw it, were like me, amateur family historians and primarily motivated to follow a trail that led to filling in blanks on their family trees.<br />Having taken the time to read it, I was impressed with the efforts of the professional archivists involved, but also the humanitarian implications of their work.<br />Since this was my first visit to this blog, I wanted to see what kind of activity it still attracted and came to this post.
