Thanks for this wonderful post.
B...Dr. Papenfuse:

Thanks for this wonderful post.

By fortuitous happenstance I've recently come into contact with "WILLIAM A. WILLYAMS" in research as it pertains to the world of Dr. Frederick (Bailey) Douglass.

WILLYAMS was an educator in Baltimore late 1860s / 1870s and educated a fellow named GEORGE E. ADAMS who was a subscription agent for the "NEW NATIONAL ERA" across the Bay in Queen Anne's County.

Bishop Wayman wrote to President Grant in 1876 advocating for WILLYAMS to be considered for diplomatic position to Liberia.

So much history has been lost and not told across generations. Therefore it will take generations to uplift the fallen history.

respectfully,
John Muller
author, "Frederick Douglass in Washington, D.C.: The Lion of Anacostia"
202.236.3413
jmuller@ggwash.orgJohn Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09414125388236899114noreply@blogger.com
